You are bidding for new Brake Fluid Resevoir, to fit hydraulic master cylinders that were fitted to the VW Type 2 Bay and which had a brake Servo fitted to them, between 1968 and 1972. It comes complete with the two new seals fitted to attach the resevoir to the master cylinder.
Very briefly it was puchased with a number of other new parts, when I did a brake system restoration project , some 18 months ago, on my 1974 Type 2 Bay, but then found that it was only suitable for a pre 1972 unit and was not compatable with my new, chosen master cylinder. Trying to find a replacement RHD unit at the time was extremely difficult! It has sat on the shelf in my workshop and is now surplus to requirements.
It is still with it’s original packing and has the VW part number stamped on the underside, so it would appear to be a genuine VW replacement. Any questions please ask.
