Here for sale I have an alternator for the very early mk2 golf gti as fitted to the 1984 and early 1985 models.
This has the large rectangular plug rather than bolt on terminal fittings as found on later cars.
This was removed fro a very early 1985 MK2 Golf gti that had been in storage for 17 years.
Listed for parts due to sitting for so long but can be refurbished. It’s spins freely but the bearings are noisy.
