air cooled vw “D” code (1200) but upgraded to a 1300 twinport

great compression

all new gaskets ( inlet manifold , exhaust, fuel pump, carb, rocker covers )

new fuel pump , dizzy, fanblelt and pully wheel. reconditioned( a few yrs ago been in box in garage ) generator with new flange nut/washers and strap

new heater pipes , new back closing plate

solex 30 pict -1 carb, some chrome tinware the rest gloss black, genuine VW coil

plz note all external parts(exhaust/carb/generator/fanbelt/oilbath filter) have been fitted on for purpose of pix and selling and will need

tightening/torquing to spec, carb may need cleaning/ mix adjusting before use

dizzy will need timing, points setting ,fanbelt will need shimming ect

generator strap and rear nut not tightened (incase you wanted to change to alternator)

i will do oil change and new strainer before collection,

and as shown in last pic ,,the top exhaust stud was missing when i bought this as a short block so will need a new one(i have just fitted exhaust with a standard bold not a stud)

i do have the empi silencer to go with the exhaust but it has had some crap welding done in past ..i might try cut out and weld new piece in before sale
