VW Type 2 Bay Window cab door cards – black vinyl with ‘welded’ details.
Surplus to requirements, I have no paperwork to prove this but I suspect the cards were manufactured by Newton Commercial.
They are super quality with a ‘welded’ ribbed pattern in the padded black vinyl that is very similar to the original VW items
It is possible to make the cards fit the later Baywindow buses (with the in-built vents in the doors) by removing the pre-cut MDF sections from the rear lower corners of the cards and cutting through the vinyl – see photos #5 & #6 in the sequence.
Cards have no warping or distortion – they’ve never been fitted to a door.
Collection much preferred on these, they’re too nice to be damaged in transit with a courier.
Cash on collection preferred, items located near Hereford (that’s HerEford not HerTford).
