VW CADDY 2010 – 2015 / 1.6 AND 2.0 TDI ENGINE COVER 03L-103-925-R.
On offer here today is a good condition used engine cover for SWB and Maxi 1.6 and 2.0 engines.I purchased this cover from ebay 18 months ago.It was in sound condition but there was a small hairline crack (in the common place from removal and refitting during maintenance) above the bottom right mounting.To ensure this did not get any worse I reinforced it from the underside and one of my photos clearly shows this.The cover has been removed on several occasions over the past one and a half years and the repair has held firm.Also missing at the time of purchase were three of the four rubber bushes, I replaced these with genuine VW items from TPS Motor Services.The reason for selling is that I located only by pure chance a brand new one offered on ebay by a VW/Audi surplus stock seller.Finally in order to fit this cover, 2 additional mounting posts will be required – your engine already has two of the four in place, the others simply are not supplied by the factory when the car was new.
