VW Polo 1400 Petrol 16v (75hp) 2002 103,000 Miles 8.5 months MOT.Good Bits:Drives great when working, have been using it for almost a year every day. It is comfortable and smooth on the road. No knocks or clunks. good on Fuel too.Bad Bits / Work Required:The car has had some electrical issues since I bought it. the main one being the immobilizer every so often faults and doesn’t allow me to start the car. This happens more often in hot weather. If I turn the ignition on and off a few times it usually starts.Other electrical issues are a few warning lights that come on. Engine cooling system light. (not sure why engine temp stays correct and had no issue) The brake pad warning light is on too. This could be due to low pads I have not checked. ( brakes work perfectly)I know the O2 Sensor needs replacing as once every so often the car goes into limp home mode. All that need to be done is to disconnect the battery and reconnect. then its fixed. The most recent electric issue is the front passenger door wont unlock and cannot be opened. There is some cosmetic damage to rear nearside (see in photos) and there are a few dents here and there. nothing too ugly.(see photos)Could do with some new tyres as there isn’t much tread left. There is a spare wheel but it has a dent in the steel rim and it vibrates when driving at over 60mph.There is a chip in the windscreen but would not effect MOT. Cup holder is broken off.
