Mileage: 125k but has a mileage discrepancy before my ownership in 2008. I assumed the garage that did the mot accidentally added 1 in front of the mileage at the time. But i can’t confirm this so take it as you like. Specification: 5 Speed, Power steering, Electric windows x2, Central locking, Alloy wheels, Drivers, passenger and side airbags.V5: Full V5 present.MOT: 23rd FEB 2021.Service History: Service book is not present with this car.Keys: x1 remote key.
In general: This Golf starts, runs, stops ( just about ) and drives, it pulls okay and the gearbox/clutch work fine. It has a current MOT until 23rd feb 2021 so can be driven away. But i wouldn’t recommend it as its been parked up for awhile now and at least 1 tyre needs replacing.The bodywork is in poor condition, few dents, some rust and paint has faded in a few places the interior needs a deep clean,The clutch & flywheel have been replaced was replaced about 10k miles ago but unfortunately the thrust bearing wasn’t so its noises. Not bothered me as its been used as a 2nd / spare family car.Battery will definitely need replacing, but will start with jump leads.Started it the other day with jump leads and it started straight away but alot of lights on the dash lit up.Breaks not the best but it does eventually stop.Due to these reasons, and the age, mileage and price, this car is sold strictly as spares or repair without any warranty and as unroad worthy. Open to sensible offers.
