I am an experienced vehicle breaker/dismantler, and have extensiveunderstanding in vehicle mechanics. I have been in the business for over 15 years. I purchase right off’s, private sale vehicles, non running vehicles, end of life vehicles. Anything that can be turned into profit. I check, and save parts that can be re used.I purchase complete vehicles, and also parts such as complete engines, and ancillary’s, gearboxes, diff’s, fuel pumps, etc, for spares or repair/reconditioning.A percentage of my sales, are on an exchange basis. I either repair/recondition myself, if the part is familiar to me, or send the relevant part off, to an experienced technician.
When it comes to buying from me, and making offers, please bare the following paragraph in mind.
Collection of all, and any part’s, are welcome. I will need notice to get the parts ready, as I work in more than one place.If Posted. The price of postage, and packaging, is included in the sale price, around 97% of the time. This will be highlighted, at the top of the page, by saying free p+p. If no postage is available, please read close to the item description.If you planing on having your item posted, you need to bare this in mind, when it comes to making an offer price.I only use couriers who collect from my home, or business, as I don’t have the time, to go to the post office, or drop off points.If you are planning to collect, then I will take less of an offer.If you live in a postal area, such as Scottish highlands, British Islands, parts of Ireland etc, postage cost’s for me will be higher, and free postage, and packaging will not apply. ebay have a postage rate table for this situation, so I can advertise the additional cost for postage, within the postage rates table, which will be automatically added to the final price. Please check the postage rates table, if you live in such area.If you live totally out of the UK, or in a UK place that doesn’t have a postage price given for your region, ebay will not allow you to make an offer, or buy. *Collection in person*please get in touch asap, once a deal has been made, so we can arrange a convenient time, as I will need notice to dig the part out, or remove.
*Reasonable sized items*(Anything smaller than a big gearbox)Will be sent using a courier service. TNT, most commonly used *Large, heavy single items*(Anything bigger than an average gearbox)Will be sent on a pallet, using a pallet service, or shiply, which is covered in it’s own section below.I wont always be able to give a quote for large heavy items, and may need to be handled on an individual customer needs basis.So Some items, will have to be advertised as collection only. This is because I have found that If I give an all one price for parts, and postage, for large, or heavy items, someone from a British island, or similar, is able to select buy it now, which causes major problems, as it could cost a lot on shipping fees,which we then lead to a problem in need to resolving.Please ask for a quote in any event.
*Multiple items/parts which will not get along packaged together*If you buy more than one item, I may be able to package together, in one cost, but If the item’s together, exceed the minimum weight for one parcel, or will get damaged, if wrapped together, then you’ll have to pay for additional p+p.There is a service out there called shiply, that is helpful in this type of situation, which I have put into it’s own section, below.
*Shiply*Shiply is a postal/courier/shipment auction site, where private courier firms can bid on shipments, that need shipping from A to B. single items, large items, and multiple itemsThe way it works is, There are a lot of private courier’s, traveling around the country, who look to not be traveling to, or from a collection’s with an empty van, as well as continuous work. It isn’t the fastest of services, sometimes, as bidders circle the UK, and go to certain regions, at certain times of the week. It’s an ideal solution when there’s a lot of items, or heavy items.It’s a trust worthy service.If speed is an issue, then you’ll either have to pay for a pallet service, or multiple parcel delivery, which is covered abovecollection is always an option, which is also covered above.I can put a delivery request out as soon as you’d like, but can’t book anything, until payment has been received.
*Photo’s* Please don’t take all the photo’s literal. I will try and take the best photo’s I can, but in the cases, where I need to spend a long time stripping down the parts, just to photo individual parts, I may take a photo of the vehicle, the engine bay, the part number, or part attached to another. Photo’s sometimes, are for illustration purposes.
All my Items, unless stated other wise, are in good, reusable condition, and some times reconditioned, or very good condition, never new.I aim to get all items shipped out within 3 working days. I have to be realistic, as I work alone, and I can’t exceed my limit, or work load.The dispatch time that I have stated of 3 working days, is because I work alone, and I have to carry out all my work duties alone,this way I’m not setting any unrealistic goals for myself, and we all know where we standI have then given the postal service 3 to 5 days. It often doesn’t take this long, but I like given myself a safety margin, for unforeseen events. If you do need a rush put on anything, please do ask, and I’ll give you as clear an answer as I can.Please bare in mind that certain unforeseen things can happen, such as bad weather, family emergencies, bad health etc. I will notify you if any problems have arose. If I’m physically able to. please don’t be so quick to leave negative feedback or low star ratings. I am only trying to make a living
I will a lot of the time, need an old unit back, for reconditioning, or spares, such as engines,and gearboxes etc. In the case of engines. There are a couple of ways we can do business. My definition of an engine is the bottom end, and a engine head. The same as an engine supplier.I can supply an engine with all ancillary’s, but I will require the same ancillary’s back, with the exchange unit. If any of your ancillary’s are broken, you will need to pay for this part. You can remove all your own ancillary’s, and keep them if you like, and just exchange an engine. If a straight swap isn’t convenient, then a deposit will have to be left, and refunded on the return of the old unit, and all ancillary’s.The refund wont be given to guarantee the safe return, The refund will be given after the safe return of the exchange unit, and ancillary’s.
I aim to offer a good level of service. I don’t sell any items that are not mechanically good. Not without clearly pointing it out, like in the case of parts being sold for spares or repair, which means you can either fix, or use for spare parts. I know from the years experience with selling parts, what to expect from this kind of business. I mark all my items in the event that some one tries to return a different item for refund. I cover all my parcels in the event off loss or damage. this way both I, and the customer are covered. I check all my parts before sending them. If your original problem isn’t fixed with the spare part, It doesn’t necessary mean the part supplied is at fault. When I strip engines, I plug all holes, and wrap in shrink wrap, so no foreign objects get in. With body panels, such as bumpers, wing’s and door’s, I don’t supply new part’s, or spray them, so you will be getting panels from used cars, and other panels would have been leaned against them, in storage. So what I am saying is, surface scratches should be expected, and I’ll notify of any bad scratches or dents, and rust. Metal parts, such as brakes, hubs, suspension, clutch kits are vulnerable to rust. Depending on how long it’s been sat on the shelf, it is going to have rust on it, and can be cleaned before, or after fitting, by the buyer.When removing parts all over the car, some tool removal marks are unavoidable, especially with stubborn parts. I do not guarantee any parts that are not being used for the designed purpose, such as engines/gearboxes going into projects or kit cars, parts being used for upgrades, on different parts or being modified. If you drop the part or damage while fitting, and do not have fitted by a qualified fitter, and finally please make sure you put oil in engines, gearboxes and fit turbos correctly, by cleaning all intercooler hoses and pre oil the turbo.With interior parts, such as seats and carpets, I store the parts in a garage, they aren’t getting damaged but after a while dust will settle on them and surface mold will set. I don’t clean them on sale, as the parts need to be fitted, and then they can be cleaned.Car seats also tend to lose there shape when stacked on top of one another, face to face, but should eventually pop back into shape.I will listen, and take other peoples opinions on any problems, but have been in the business long enough, to know what’s what.

I am unable to chose my own terms, and conditions, as when selling on ebay, the rules are laid out by ebay. For the buyer, and seller to follow. So we are all bound by these rules.I do however ask the following, within ebay rules. If paying by paypal, there rules are, all parcels being sent, must be sent using a courier service with tracking information, and items must be sent to the paypal registered address. I will advertise all parts as accurate as possible, so the item is as described. As stated above, I am a vehicle breaker, working in a breakers environment, so the parts will be in the conditions mentioned. Please only buy if you are going to follow through with the sale, as it is an inconvenience for customers to back out once they have committed to a sale. please read the advert properly, and don’t rely on the photo 100%, as it may be a stock photo, or for illustration. If you purchase the item and it is not suitable, due to your mistake, it falls as your responsibility to pay for the return of the item. If the mistake is mine, then I will pay for the postage. If the item is damaged, I will require photo’s of the damage, Internal packaging, and external packaging. I will decide after we’ve resolved the issue, whether or not I will need the item back, I cover all my items, so If the part is damaged in transit, we are covered. I mark all my items, in the event of someone trying to return different items. Item’s must be returned in there original condition. Not tampered with, altered, or any repairs attempted.Please bare ebay’s resolution policy’s in mind, when it comes to problems. They have a time scale, and is set up to prevent unreasonable demands, such as people just demanding an instant refund whilst threatening unreasonable action. I will be as fare as I can with each an every case.
